(Mrs. Jill's Due Date: 2/4/15; Final Due Date: 2/13/15)
SENIORS ONLY!

This scholarship was set up in June of 1970. It is named after Vicki Webb-Nelson,
the daughter of VFW Ladies Auxiliary past Department President, Sandy Webb.

Vicki was raised in Montana until the age of 5, when her family moved to Alaska.
Here, she grew into an inquisitive, interesting young woman that loved to learn.
As many other Alaskan kids, she enjoyed roller-skating, ice-skating and football games as well as her classes at school. After graduating from East High School in 1967,
she enrolled in college at Missoula, Montana. There she took classes that really interested her, such as Russian. While she was in college, she fell in love,
was married, and soon after gave birth to a son. Vicki was 20  years old and her son was 3 months old when she passed on.

Each year, this scholarship is given to a
qualified Alaskan High School student
who would like to further their education,
in memory of this wonderful Alaskan lady
who was not able to finish hers.
